The British Transport Police has sent RailAdvent an update after officers attended an incident at Liverpool Lime Street this morning.
Officers attended reports of a serious incident and were joined by paramedics, where a teenager was taken to hospital with injuries, which have since been confirmed as not life-threatening.
Enquiries are being made into the incident and if anyone has any information, then they need to contact the BTP or either 61016 or 0800 40 50 40.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said ‘British Transport Police officers attended Liverpool Lime Street railway station at 11.34am today (19 March) following reports of a serious assault.
Paramedics also attended, and a teenager was taken to hospital where his injuries were confirmed to be neither life-threatening or life-changing.
Officers are conducting enquiries into the incident, and anyone with information can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 190 of 19/03/21.
