GB Railfreight has announced that they recently started a new intermodal freight service to Liverpool, which will see 20,000 lorry journeys off the roads.
The new service operates to the Port of Liverpool from the East Midlands, and operates in partnership with Mediterranean Shipping Company (UK) Ltd.
The new freight train service will run five times a week.
Despite the impact of Coronavirus, GB Railfreight has continued to make waves in the Intermodal market, and this is the 21st GBRf intermodal service to date.
