has released their 2021 plans for upcoming routes and addons for Train Simulator, and some of these look superb!

First up is the Hastings DEMU, this is due for release in Q1 of 2021, now this is a reskin so will need the AP 205, Class 421 4-CIG and Class 422 4-BIG.

Also due for release in Q1 of 2021 is a Prototype HST, this we have never seen in Train Simulator 2021 before. This is being produced with help from Wayside Works and needs the AP Valenta Pack, as this uses the sounds and particles from this pack – but I'm sure you will agree, it looks fab!

Third up for release in Q1 of 2021 is a new route for Ipswich Dockyards, now this sounds a really enjoyable route and a nice addition to any collection – we look forward to learning more about this one.

Now, we can't miss out steam, can we! coming to Train Sim in Q1 is the WD Austerity 2-10-0, this is an enhanced version of the one found on UK Train Sim with new textures, nameplates and remapped sounds.

Moving to Q2, Traction Studios are hoping to release the Mid Norfolk Railway Phase 2, which is currently being produced in partnership with British Locomotive Studios.

We stay in Norfolk for the next release in Q2 as, working with Wandering 1500, Traction Studios are hoping to release the North Norfolk Railway route for Train Simulator! It's really nice to see more heritage lines featuring in Train Simulator, so this is one to keep an eye on.

Alongside the routes, Traction Studios is also working on release Stock Packs for both the Mid Norfolk Railway and North Norfolk Railway thanks to partnerships with British Locomotive Studios, JRS, Wayside Works and Cambriana.

They are busy at Traction Studios, with Q3 bringing yet another route, this one being the Wisbech and Upwell branch!

Produced with Wayside Works, the Bessingham Museum is coming to Train Simulator, great for driving standard gauge stock and quickly switching to the narrow gauge line.

The Bittern Line is also coming to Train Simulator thanks to Traction Studios, the real route runs from Sheringham to Norwich, in Train Simulator? Well, you will have to wait till Q4 to get your hands on it!

Lastly, Traction Studios hope to release a Weybourne Wanderer Scenario Pack, which should be great fun.

The most important thing to tell you about all of this is that all DLCs listed here will be FREE to download! Traction Studios is working throughout 2021 with Steaming Through Yorkshire to produce additional scenario packs for the routes.

Please note: DLC releases are subject to change and may not be released in the order above.
