Rail enthusiasts and passengers are keen to get back to their hobbies and get out and about, as tour promoter Northern Belle has sent out an urgent appeal for more staff.
The Northern Belle is looking to recruit more stewards, waiters and team leaders to serve Christmas lunch to passengers in Pullman carriages.
They must be courteous, smile a lot, and know how to open and pour a bottle of champagne.

A spokesman explained: “We have been astonished at the demand from the public after the Government announced plans to ease the coronavirus restrictions.
“We are planning to run 14 different festive trains during December from all over the country.
“But now we need to find enough experienced staff to serve all our passengers.
“We need people with experience of working in four or five-star hotels, who are courteous, well-spoken and like to smile.
“And they must enjoy travelling. Because one day they could be in Dorset – the next in the Scottish Highlands!”
