£980,000 raised for steam locomotive 1014 County of Glamorgan

1014 The GWR County Project has announced that fundraising has reached a milestone of £980,000.

Based at Didcot, the project is looking to complete the set of GWR County class of locomotive, with the new build 1014 County of Glamorgan.

The major milestone means that the project is one step closer to seeing a GWR County steam locomotive in steam for the first time since 1964.
