Steam locomotive 6201 Princess Elizabeth to pass through Settle this Saturday

Steam locomotive 6201 Princess Elizabeth will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Lancaster, Carlisle and Blackburn on Saturday 3rd October 2020.

The Princess locomotive is on a special railtour with 6201 Princess Elizabeth hauling The Northern Belle.

6201 Princess Elizabeth will depart Preston at 10:13 and will pass through Lancaster (10:38), Oxenholme Lake District (11:41), Tebay (11:57), Penrith North Lakes (12:19) and Carlisle at 12:41.

After around 90 minutes in Carlisle, 6201 will depart at 14:06 and will pass through Lazonby & Kirkoswald (14:31), Appleby (14:57), Garsdale (15:44), Ribblehead (15:57), Settle (16:08), Hellifield (16:15), Clitheroe (17:08), Langho (17:21), Blackburn (17:34), Bamber Bridge (17:46), Preston (17:55) and Lancaster at 18:43.
