Steam locomotive 60103 Flying Scotsman to pass through Manchester this Friday

Ex-LNER A3 No. 60103 Flying Scotsman will be on the mainline this Friday as it heads to Carnforth for work to be completed.

Flying Scotsman will be heading through Manchester and Bolton as it heads from the East Lancashire Railway to Carnforth.

Departing the East Lancashire Railway at 08:55, the locomotive will pass through Mills Hill (09:35), Moston (09:38), Miles Platting (09:57), Manchester Victoria (10:04), Salford Crescent (10:14), Farnworth (10:24), Bolton (10:27), Lostock (10:32), Horwich Parkway (10:35), Chorley (10:42), Buckshaw Parkway (10:46), Leyland (10:50), Preston (11:07), Lancaster (11:36), Carnforth (11:47) and Carnforth Steamtown at 12:06
