Doncaster's iPort Rail has announced that it has been awarded two industry awards in less than a week.
iPort Rail has been awarded Business of the Year at the Rail Freight Group Awards, and also has been named Freight and Logistics Achievement of the Year at the National Rail Awards.
The Business of the Year award is selected by the judging panel based on operational performance, whilst the Freight and Logistics Achievement of the Year award rewards schemes that have had a positive impact on the competitiveness of rail in the supply chain.
The awards have come after strong growth for the terminal since opening in 2018, with a rapid increase in services across the country including daily trains to and from Southampton, Felixstowe and Teesport.
