“The Merchant Of Norfolk” railtour with steam locomotive “Clan Line” rescheduled

and the (MVLPS) have announced that The Merchant Of Norfolk tour has been re-booked to run next year following the original date being cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The mainline tour will now be running on Saturday 24th April 2021 behind MVLPS owned Southern Railway Rebuilt Merchant Navy Class No.35028 “Clan Line”.

This tour will be the first time 35028 has visited Norwich, with the tour starting from King Cross Station at roughly 8.30 am.

Passengers will have a four and a half hour stop at Norwich, allowing time to explore the Cathedral City.

They have announced three types of adult tickets, Standard Adult priced at £119, First Class Non Dining priced at £179 and First Class Dining priced at £249.

Availability is currently good for all ticket types but booking early is advised to avoid disappointment from sold-out seats.
