A landslip near Scunthorpe is disrupting Northern and TransPennine Express train services in the area.

As a result of the landslip, trains may be cancelled, delayed or changed, with expected until the end of service.

A limited replacement bus service will be in operation between Sheffield and Scunthorpe for TransPennine Express.

Northern has said that “all services on this line will have to run at a reduced speed between Althorpe and Scunthorpe and will be delayed by up to 20 minutes.”

The operator has also said that “disruption has been estimated to last until at least the end of the day on Saturday 20th June.”

This is a developing story, and more information will be added when this is made available.
