The Great Central Railway has now announced that their Goods Galore gala has now been postponed.
The Goods Galore event is the second GCR event to be called off today after the Model Event was called off earlier today.
Goods Galore was set to take place on the 28th and 29th March 2020.
There are currently plans for a train operate to operate over the weekend, more details of that will be announced soon.
Visitors who purchased online advance tickets for Goods Galore will receive a full refund.
The intensive timetable that the Goods Galore relies on needs a large number of volunteers to operate the event.
Goods Galore also had an expected large amount of visitors, which is the reasoning behind the postponement of this event.
