Lines reopened after person hit by train near Broxbourne

Lines have reopened after a person was hit by a train today between and Bishops Stortford.

Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services will still be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Normal services will be provided as soon as possible.

Train services between Liverpool Street and Broxbourne, Bishops Stortford, Stansted Airport and Cambridge have been disrupted due to a person hit by a train earlier.

Emergency services have finished their investigation and are clear off the tracks and all lines have reopened.

Passengers travelling to Stansted Airport and Cambridge may continue to travel via Kings Cross to Cambridge and vice versa.

Passengers to Stansted Airport may also travel via Kings Cross to Cambridge and from Cambridge please travel on Cross Country or local services to Stansted Airport.

Greater Anglia tickets will still be accepted on London Underground services via any reasonable route between Liverpool Street and Kings Cross and Moorgate.
