UPDATE 16/10 @ 16:00: Lines have now reopened, however, trains are still subject to delays of up to 10 minutes.
Disruption expected until 17:00

A fire on a train at has resulted in all lines being blocked through this station.

Trains running through this station may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is currently expected to last until 15:30.

Photos on Twitter show that a CrossCountry 221 Voyager is involved, and is effecting Hull Trains, Northern, LNER, TransPennine Express and East Midlands Railway services.

To help with your journey, tickets will be accepted on the following services:

  • East Midlands Railway services via any reasonable route
  • LNER services via any reasonable route
  • Northern Rail services via any reasonable route
  • TransPennine Express services via any reasonable route
