Hull Trains has announced that it has launched a summer ticket deal to allow families to travel between Hull and London for just £99.
The family ticket deal is available throughout the entire school summer holidays, when prices usually sore, to help parents from Hull and Brough travel to the capital with their children on a budget.
The ticket deal can also be used by families from London wanting to venture up north this summer to explore the UK City of Culture 2017 – 2020, at less than £25 per person.
The train company has joined up with Days Out Guide to offer passengers 2 for 1 ticket entry to more than 150 top attractions, restaurants, theatres, exhibitions and more.
All passengers who travel with Hull Trains can enjoy London at a fraction of the price with this offer. They can do this by downloading a voucher and showing their train tickets at the venue.
Attractions include the Coca Cola London Eye, The Tower of London, The London Dungeon, City Cruises, London Zoo and Madame Tussauds – to name a few.
The family ticket deal is available for two adults and two children travelling together, subject to availability.
It is available from Saturday, July 20 until Sunday, September 1 2019 – (based on the dates of the school holidays in East Yorkshire) – on Hull Trains services only.

Louise Cheeseman, Managing Director at Hull Trains said:
“We know how expensive the summer holidays can be and we also know how much families enjoy days out and weekends away, so we've launched this ticket deal to make a trip more affordable.
“In the leisure industry prices are usually hiked at peak times, such as the school summer holidays, but we don't think that's fair on families, so we have done the opposite and lowered our prices to help families.
“The ticket deal is perfect for all families thinking of having a break to London this summer, but it is also perfect for those who don't want to stay over too.
“With Hull Trains, families can be in London in under three hours which makes a day trip achievable, so even if you are not staying over, this ticket offer makes for a great day out.
“Then after a full day in the capital parents can sit back and relax on the return journey without the tiredness and stress of driving.”

We don’t have any children to take so why is there a duo option for around £50. We travelled to London on Hull trains last month and the cheapest we could get was £120
£99 sounds bit too much. Why not lower it down to £49 to make it bit cheaper to travel to Hull and Bridlington. Plus with Hull Trains to receive the new Class 802 IET trains later this year. Which will replace the hired Class 43 HST Mk3 and the Class 180 Adelante DMU units to be cascaded to Grand Central.
