Work is progressing on reassembling Great Western Railway Small Mogul No.9351 following the frame and boiler being reunited.

Boiler and Cab

Cladding is fully fitted along the boiler barrel, firebox and boiler back head.

This has allowed boiler fittings to go return back into their positions.

Valve Gearing

Covers for the oil feed and regulator valve have been fitted, along with the reach rods.

Trial fittings of the crosshead and piston & piston rods are taking place, with the next task after this being to reattach the vacuum pump arm.

The felt pads will also be fitted soon. The oil reservoir for the die block is being machined.
