Network Rail is urging passengers to plan ahead if they are travelling between Hull and Scarborough as a £2.8million investment into the railway takes place next month.
The work is part of the Great North Rail Project and will see work to upgrade the track on the line between Hull and Scarborough.
Once completed, passengers will benefit from a more modern and reliable railway.
To allow the work to take place safely, there will be changes to train services on selected weekend dates in March.
On Sunday, 3 March, and the weekend of 9/10 March, the track work will take place between Filey and Bridlington. This will mean that this portion of the line is closed and a coach replacement service will be in operation between Scarborough and Bridlington.
On the weekend of 16/17 March and 23/24 March, the project will take place between Beverley and Bridlington, meaning a coach replacement service between Hull and Bridlington is in operation.

Rob McIntosh, Route Managing Director for Network Rail, said:
“This £2.8million investment will create a more modern and reliable railway, which will improve journeys for all passengers who use the line.
“The work does mean some changes to train services, so we would urge everyone to plan ahead and check before they travel. We do appreciate that this work can be disruptive and we are working closely with Northern to keep passengers moving.
“We would like to thank all those affected for their patience whilst we carry out this vital work which will allow us to provide a service which meets the needs of the communities and economies our railway serves.”
