  • I find that Arriva who are managing the Northern rail franchise isn’t getting any better despite new trains that are currently being built by CAF (Class 195 and Class 331) and will start passenger service from December this year and Class 769 Bi-mode from next year. I think it’s time that the government should take over the troubled Northern franchise and to put a end to the strikes that it’s caused lots of misery to passengers right across the North of England including most parts of Yorkshire, The Midlands, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, County Durham and Tyne & Wear.
