Greater Anglia has announced that it has invested more than £1m painting more than 70 stations across its network.
Stations have been given a deep clean and a full repaint to enhance the look and feel for passengers.
The project has seen 8,500 litres of paint used. Teams of workers have worked across the network to repaint station buildings, railings and lampposts to make the stations more welcoming.
The work started in March 2017 and is expected to be completed by June 2019.
The work was carried out during off-peak hours and when stations were closed. Cambridge station was painted on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

What about replacing replacing the information passenger screens with new LED information screens at stations including Ingatestone, Rayleigh, Hockley, Rochford, Prittlewell, Battlesbridge, South Woodham Ferrers, North Fambridge, Althorne, Southminster and other stations on the Greater Anglia network that have the old RCT screens to be replaced by new LED information screens and new LED screens at stations on the TfL Rail Shenfield-Liverpool Street Line as some stations have got new LED information screens already installed.
