Beatrix Potters cheeky little bunny Peter Rabbit is set to hop along for a special visit to the East Railways, Transport Museum this Easter.

Families, friends and fans of the books and TV shows will be able to book slots to meet, and have their photo taken with Peter Rabbit, which will no doubt leave lasting impressions and memories with everyone, especially children.

Tickets are £20 per adult and £17.50 per child, with under 2s getting free entry.

All tickets include free access to the theme park rides, crafts stalls and face painting, which will also be in attendance as an Easter Fair.

Take a ride on the train

A train ride is also included in the price, but families will need to book tickets on the website beforehand.

As well as that, the steam and diesel trains will also be running during the Peter Rabbit Family Fun Days, 31st March – 1st April, where you can take in the impressive scenery as the trains make their way through the Irwell Valley.

Mike Kelly, Chairman of the East Lancashire Railway, said “Families can take a trip down memory lane with Beatrix Potter's woodland friend from Mr. McGregor's garden coming to life for people young and old. We love to watch children's book characters come to life at ELR and bring some magic to the tracks. The train ride around the beautiful surrounding woodlands is the perfect setting for little ones to imagine Peter Rabbit hopping around.”
