The is to hold an Early Spring Gala later this month.

The gala is to bid farewell to its owners, Adrian and Sandra Corke, who have owned the railway for the last 12 years, but have now sold the railway and are retiring at the end of February.

David Nelson Brown and his team will be taking over the railway in March, but to mark the occasion, an Early Spring Gala will see all steam locomotives in action.

Taking place on Sunday 25th February 2024, between 10:30am and 4pm, the gala will see a half hourly service with double headers and the occasional freight train.

More information can be found on the EVLR website.

  • Love this little railway, and wave to travellers on my dog walks as it passes. Happy retirement sandra and Adrian. You have been fabulous.
