With just a few days before the start of the Transport for the North's (TfN) annual conference next Monday, 5th February, it has been confirmed that the conference has sold out.
This is the North of England's main transport conference and is being held at Hilton Liverpool City Centre. This year's theme focuses on the best way to ‘Transform the North' through investing in connectivity, which will drive economic growth, decarbonise the transport system, and improve opportunities for everyone.
With over 350 delegates registered, the demand for tickets to the conference has been higher than ever, and enquiries are still being received.
Topics to be covered during the day include: thought leadership, unmatched opportunities to connect and network with region's political and business leaders, government, policymakers, key industry professionals and many other stakeholders.
There will be keynote speeches and actionable insights debates, as well as panel discussions on the themes coming out of Transport for the revised Strategic Transport Plan and the updated Northern Powerhouse Independent Economic Review (NPIER).
The sector is excited by the strong lineup of speakers, while this year's theme will provide a platform for in-depth discussions and collaboration on topics that include decarbonisation, the North's rail and bus networks, freight and logistics, and transport-related social exclusion.
