Good news for fans as UK has signed a new agreement for a Class 37 locomotive.

Loram have agreed with 37418's owner for a continuous permanent lease until at least Spring 2026.

To celebrate the agreement, Loram UK have, earlier this year, completed corrosion repairs to the locomotive and also out-shopped the locomotive in a new Loram livery.

The decision to outshop the locomotive in the livery was made to reflect the investment and agreement that Loram is making in the operations side of the business.

37418 can be regularly seen working with Track Inspection Saloon ‘Caroline' as well as working with side-tipper wagons to and from the Loram Depot at Derby.

It is also available for hire and ad-hoc duties in between the rostered work.
