Free train travel is being made available from Virgin Trains Ticketing, as long as you're a descendant of train pioneer, Richard Trevithick.
On the 21st February 1804, the first ever railway journey took place in South Wales thanks to Richard Trevithick
Anyone with a surname Trevithick could be a descendent of the pioneer, and could now be rewarded with free train travel.
All people need to do email trevithick@virgin.com with a photo of your ID card by the 6th March 2024 to claim your free travel.
