Storm Isha: Number of Do Not Travel warnings given by train operators

Train operators are warning passengers travelling today (22nd January 2024) as Storm Isha has brought high winds and heavy rain to lots of the UK.

has placed a closure on all lines in and will be investigating the lines today to see if / when they can reopen.

Lots of Do Not Travel warnings have been issued up to 12pm today, with a couple of train operators seeing better services:

Kathryn O'Brien, Customer Experience and Operations Director for said: “Our number one priority is to keep our customers and colleagues safe, and we will be doing all we can to keep people moving in difficult conditions.

“We are urging anyone travelling across the affected routes to plan ahead, allow extra time, check their journey up until the last minute, and follow the guidance provided.”
