Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower to visit Somerset

The has announced that LNER B1 No. 61306 Mayflower is to visit for their Spring Steam Spectacular in 2024.

This will be the first time that Mayflower has hauled services on the heritage railway and will only happen over the gala.

Last time Mayflower visited the WSR, it came on a mainline tour but didnt haul any public trains.

Joining 61306 Mayflower will be , with more yet to be announced.

The gala will take place between the 3rd and 6th May 2024, with Mayflower visiting thanks to and Locomotive 61306 Ltd.
