Spa Valley Railway to hold spoof James Bond comedy-dining experience

This spring, the at in is hosting a comedy dinner experience that is a spoof of the James Bond film Live and Let Die.

The ingeniously titled ‘Live and Let Dine' is being held on Saturdays, 16 March and 20 April 2024.

The action will be on a train hauled by a magnificent steam locomotive. Departing from station at 6 pm, the comedy Bond adventure promises to serve up an evening where passengers are filled with fun and laughter while enjoying amazing entertainment and onboard dining.

Many well-known clichés of the Bond movies will be revealed during the comedy dinner show as passengers have fun watching the film and the evening's hero as he tries to find out who is trying to get him and why.

Passengers should prepare to be shaken but not stirred as a host of hilarious characters serve up comedy mayhem as they enjoy a three-course meal. During the evening passengers can expect to encounter outrageous supervillains, death-defying missions, and plenty of puns.

Anyone who has already experienced the railway's popular comedy dining experience ‘A Taste of Faulty Towers' is sure to enjoy this latest offering, as will fans of other comedy classics such as Austin Powers and Johnny English and The Naked Gun.

Tickets for the evening cost £89.50 per person, and include the show, the train journey along the Spa Valley Railway, Apéritif and Canapés upon arrival, and a Starter, Main Course and Dessert, Tea, Coffee and Mints to follow.
