The East Somerset Railway has announced that new build GWR Grange No. 6880 Betton Grange will be visiting them for their 50th Anniversary Gala.
The gala will see 6880 run alongside Large Prairie No. 4110, Ivatt 2 No. 46447 and No. 1719 Lady Nan.
Tickets for the gala cost just £20 for adults, £16 for concessions and £12 for children.
The gala will take place on the 16th and 17th March 2024 and will be the first time a Grange has operated on GWR tracks since 1965, and the first GWR 4-6-0 to run on the East Somerset Railway since 7822 and 5029 ran on the line.
