From now until the end of February, anyone who travels by Amtrak in New York state mid-week can take can advantage of a buy one get one free special offer.
Tickets can be purchased anytime until Wednesday, 28 February 2024 for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until Thursday, 29 February 2024. Anyone wishing to take advantage of the offer must use promotion code V309 when they book their tickets.
The offer is also available for customers who wish to travel between New York City and Montreal in Canada on the Adirondack, and between New York City and Burlington, Vt. on the Ethan Allen Express. Amtrak trains provide free Wi-Fi in the United States, while customers can their phones and electronic devices without restriction at all times, meaning there is no “airplane mode”. The trains have a café service and there are no middle seats. Customers can also travel in the United States with their pet dogs and cats weighing up to 20 pounds for a small fee.
Amtrak now has a new fare structure that simplifies the ticket booking process and makes it easier and more affordable to travel. The fare sales are the lowest available on offer, but there is limited availability.
Customers wishing to take advantage of the buy one get one free offer must all travel together, and all tickets must be for Coach Class.
