CCTV image released after assault at London Underground station

Detectives have asked anyone who thinks they recognise the man in this photograph to contact them.

detectives have released this CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault on a member of rail staff.

The assault happened on the platform at underground station at about 6.35 pm on Wednesday, 8 November.

As a member of rail staff was walking along the platform he was punched in the back of the head. As a precaution the member of staff was taken to hospital but fortunately did not require treatment.

Detectives believe the man shown in the CCTV image may have information that could help their investigation, and would like to speak to or anyone who thinks they recognise him.

British Transport Police have asked anyone who thinks they recognise the man in the photograph or has any other information about the incident that could help their enquiries to contact them by text on 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 513 of 08/11/2023.

Alternatively, anyone can contact Crimestoppers anonymously with information by calling 0800 555 111.
