British Transport Police release CCTV images following a stabbing on a London Underground train

The incident took place on the Underground service whilst travelling from Vauxhall to Pimlico on Sunday the 17th of Dec 2023

Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed an incident which saw a man stabbed in the neck on an Underground train service from and Pimlico yesterday, Sunday the 17th of December 2023 at approximately 8.30am.

The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance, where he is being treated for what is believed to be a non-life-threatening injury.

Prior to the attack, the man was shopping with a friend at Vauxhall Underground station's Sainsbury's store. The friends joined the northbound train heading to Pimlico together and on boarding the service, were confronted by two men they had seen in the station earlier.

have released the CCTV images in a bid to discover the identity of the individuals in the images, as they may be able to help detectives with the investigation.
