Northern's Flash Sale has returned this week and has seen the rail operator release more than 5 million tickets at bargain prices, including:
- One million tickets at 50p
- Three million tickets at £1
- One million tickets at £2
Tickets purchased as part of the Flash Sale are for journeys booked seven days in advance, with the sale supporting travel dates from Monday the 11th to Friday of September to Friday the 20th of October.
Tickets in the Flash Sale are available to buy using the Northern app or via the rail operator's website, which now features a ‘Cheap Fare Finder' facility.
Northern's Flash Sale will close at 6pm on Thursday the 7th of September.
Mark Powles, commercial and customer director at Northern, said:
“With five million tickets up for grabs, there's a Flash Sale route and service for everyone – be that for a day out at the weekend or some late-night shopping in town.”
“Use the new ‘Cheap Fare Finder' on our website to bag the date and time that suits you. Tickets are ‘first come, first serve' – once they're gone, they're gone.”
