London Underground passenger sexually assaulted after asking if he was on right train

Detectives investigating a sexual assault are inviting people to come forward if they recognise this man.

On Sunday, 6 August, at around 10.25 pm, a man boarded a northbound tube at .

Another man, who had also boarded the train at Kennington, approached the first man to ask him if he was on the correct train.

The first man responded by sexually assaulting the second man, who then moved to another carriage.

Police officers investigating the sexual assault have today released this image in connection with the assault, as they believe the man in the image may have information that could help their investigation.

If anyone recognises the man, or has any information regarding the assault, they are requested to contact by text on 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference 2300092243.
