Legal & General executive appointed to lead Northern’s talent acquisition

Matthew Moxon has now joined the Northern team in the new HR-focused position 'Head of Talent Acquisition"

Matthew Moxon, from Boston Spa in West Yorkshire, has been appointed 's new ‘Head of Talent Acquisition'. The brand new position will involve:

  • Responsibility for recruitment
  • Employee value proposition
  • Re-invigoration of the early careers proposition
  • General candidate experience

Matthew is an ideal fit for the position and moves from the Legal & General HR leadership team where he has worked since 2019 with experience across several sectors prior to this not to mention studying at both The International School of Geneva and The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.

The rail operator has an impressive 7,000 employees throughout the North of the country covering positions such as drivers, conductors, engineers, customer services and support staff who work to keep train services for the country's second-largest rail operator on the move for customers each day.

Matthew will take on his new position from Monday the 4th of September.
