Hare Fares offer cut price days out for Greater Anglia customers

A popular range of special cut-price rail tickets has been re-launched by Greater Anglia.

People in East Anglia can travel for a day out for as little as £5 return, with children travelling for just £2 return.  Greater Anglia, which operates services from London to destinations such as King's Lynn, Norwich, Cambridge, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Southend, has launched its autumn ‘Hare Fares' for a limited time.

Fares must be booked between today (Monday 25 September) and Tuesday 17 October with travel taking place between today and Sunday 3 December.  There is no limit on the number of tickets which can be bought.

For £5, passengers may travel from Norwich to Sheringham, Lowestoft or Great Yarmouth.  Customers could travel from Cambridge to Norwich or London, or from Chelmsford to London for £10, while for £15, travel could be between Colchester and Southend or London, or between Clacton-on-Sea and Chelmsford.

Tickets between Norwich and London or Shenfield, or between Ipswich and Chelmsford will cost £20. A wide range of tickets is available across the entire network. All tickets are available as standard off-peak day returns and can only be booked on-line at greateranglia.co.uk or through the Greater Anglia app.  Hare Fares are not available for journeys wholly within the Oyster zone.

Greater Anglia has a range of great value fares and up to four children can travel for just £2 each way with any adult.”
