A meeting between Midlands Connect, Great Western Railway, and the MP has revealed the potential benefits the Midlands Rail Hub could bring.

A meeting at Parkway station saw a discussion regarding the plans for the Midlands Rail Hub. The meeting saw representatives from and , along with MP for Mid Worcestershire, Nigel Huddleston.

The meeting revealed how the pioneering rail project will transform rail travel throughout the Midlands, improving connectivity, bringing real benefits for those living in the , South West, Wales and East Midlands

The ambitious scheme will see capacity increased with a further 2 million seats made available each year to support access to once operating. Curzon Street Station will also offer an easy and smooth connection from Moor Street to the high-speed network, once operational..

Mr Huddleston's constituents will also see faster and more frequent rail services from Hereford to Birmingham, as part of the project which will call at , once complete.

Nigel Huddleston, MP for Mid Worcestershire, commented on the plans:
