CCTV images released after woman assaulted at East Croydon railway station

Detectives have now released images as part of the investigation following the assault in July.

Sunday the 16th of July at approximately 4.55pm saw the assault of a woman at station in Greater London.

The victim alighted a train at the station with her husband and daughter. A man who got off of the same train jogged along platform 4 in order to catch up with the victim and once walking by her side, pushed her over into a perspex shelter window, causing a deep cut to her chin and bruising to her face.

Following the assault, the man left the station on a train travelling to Hastings via Kent.

Detectives investigating the assault have now released CCTV images in connection to the assault and believe that the man in the images may hold vital information which could support the case.
