LMS Black 5 No. 45212 will be hauling The Northern Belle tour to Carlisle this Saturday 29th July 2023.
Departing Coventry behind an electric locomotive at 07:30, the tour will pass through Tile Hill (07:36), Birmingham International (07:47), Birmingham New Street (08:04), Wolverhampton (08:25), Penkridge (08:36), Stafford (08:47), Crewe (09:15), Winsford (09:28), Preston (10:10), before making way for the steam locomotive at Carnforth at around 10:41.
Here, 45212 will depart at 11:20 and will pass through Oxenholme Lake District (11:35), Penrith North Lakes (12:14), and Carlisle at 12:36.
After time at Carlisle, the tour will depart at 14:24. 45212 will pass through Appleby (15:07), Ribblehead (16:06), Settle (16:17), Hellifield (16:24), Clitheroe (17:15), Blackburn (17:39), Cherry Tree (17:42) and Preston at 18:02, where 45212 is swapped for the diesel locomotives.
The tour will return to Canley with stops at Winsford (19:33), Penkridge (20:18), Birmingham New Street (20:53), Tile Hill (21:20) and Canley at 21:30.
