Norfolk’s Bressingham Steam Museum set for series 2 of Channel 5 show

Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens in have revealed that ‘Inside the Steam Train Museum' Television Series, which first aired in 2020, will return for a second season on Friday, the 23rd of June on Channel 5.

The first show aired during lockdown and proved a great success with viewers throughout the UK and, due to this, television production company, Firepit Media, has opted to commission a second series, which was filmed in 2021 and 2022.

The series comprises 4 delightful episodes allowing viewers to enjoy the nostalgic world of Bressingham Steam Museum and offering a behind-the-scenes view of the day-to-day world of the staff and volunteers who keep this wonderfully unique museum open for the public to appreciate.

Viewers will notice in the new season that there have been some changes at the museum with old and new faces also making an appearance.

The season will reveal restoration projects and, of course, the unexpected issues which crop up and the amazing ideas which come to the rescue, keeping the museum alive and kicking for its 60th anniversary this year.

Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens have been sitting on this huge secret for a good while now, and finally have been able to tell the world about this exciting news which will no doubt be greeted with support from fans of the show and of the heritage steam world.

It is hoped that the show will support an increase in visitors to the museum.

Episode 1 is called '60 Years of Steam' and will air at 8pm on Channel 5 on Friday the 23rd of June.
