Three Class 37s have been put up for sale as part of Direct Rail Services' bid to modernise its fleet.
Back in October 2021, DRS said that they were selling off some of its heritage locomotives, which included 2 Class 37s along with Class 20s and Class 57s.
Following this, in January 2022, the freight operator added more 3x Class 37s and 6x Class 57s to the sale list, this was then followed quickly by 37405 which joined the sale a few days later.
The new round of sales see 37069, 37402 and 37423 up for sale to push for lower carbon emissions.
Bidding is now open and will remain open until 1pm on 7th July 2023
