  • I hope Paul Salveson, who did so much with enthusiastic support of the railway community to promote the Penistone Line with the Partnership will be joining me in welcoming this, Despite political hesitancy the Music Trains did so much to continue to grow patronage and ensure the backing of the PTAs. Whilst not a first for themed trains this is actually recreating with a Pacer the Penistone Line Music Trains from the 1990s through to “Pacergeddon”. Great to see, best wishes for success to the Wensleydale venture.
