ScotRail welcomes another ‘Coffee Counter’ Shop

Independent coffee shop ‘The Coffee Counter' has opened another shop at Croy station.

The small business first opened in 2020 at and  now has shops at three stations along Scotlands Railway.

The Coffee Counter has been aided by the number of potential customers which pass through Croy, Drumgelloch and .

has more opportunities for businesses at different stations including and .

The units available can be used for a range of community led initiatives and both established and start up businesses.

Claire Dickie, ScotRail Head of Retail, said: “It's great to see the success and growth of The Coffee Counter at Drumgelloch, Coatbridge Sunnyside, and now Croy.

“The railway provides excellent opportunities for large and small businesses, and community groups too, with high footfall and locations in the heart of the community.
