West Sussex Museum to offer free entry this spring

The National Lottery Open Week is back this Spring as a thank you to all of the players who raise a massive £30 million for good causes each week. The National Lottery is offering free entry alongside special offers at National Lottery-funded venues throughout the country as part of the special open week which takes place from Wednesday the 22nd to Friday the 24th of March.

To take part in The National Lottery open week and pay a visit to the inspiring Amberley Museum, simply bring along proof of purchase of a valid National Lottery ticket for any national lottery game or scratchcard to gain free entry to the Museum

The open week offers many different places to explore and enjoy such as historic houses, castles and museums as well as stunning wildlife hotspots, sports venues, art galleries and theatres across the UK.

Amberley Museum is thrilled to be taking part in the event this year as a recipient of National Lottery funding which has enabled significant and historically important projects to be completed allowing future generations to enjoy and learn about the importance of the site.

Amberley Museum wishes to say a huge thank you to everyone who has purchased a National Lottery Ticket and therefore supported them on their journey alongside other incredible causes around the country.

The museum has very recently been awarded £433,766 following a successful application to the Museum Estates and Development Fund or MEND which is administered by Arts Council England with funding via the Department of Culture, Media and Sport and will support the restoration and upgrade of the Bagging Shed area, which holds a fascinating history.
