ScotRail slashes train tickets by 50% this Easter for Students

Students in can take advantage of 's special offers as ticket prices are slashed by half over the Spring and Easter period.

ScotRail's half-price ticket deal for students in Scotland has returned starting on Monday the 27th of March and lasting until Sunday the 30th of April 2023.

The impressive deals will see student's fares reduced by half in Scotland right through the Spring and Easter period for travel throughout Scotland's Railway as ScotRail attempts to encourage more people to travel by train.

Both college and university students can make use of the generous deal which is available on all Off-Peak ScotRail tickets excluding Super Off-Peak Day Return Tickets.

Students who purchase the special offer Off-Peak return tickets have up to one month to use the return part of the ticket which means that a ticket purchased on the 30th of April return portion can be used up to Monday the 29th of May 2023.

To enjoy the special offer, students will need to purchase from a staffed ticket office with a valid student photo ID. Tickets are also available to buy on-board trains if students are making a journey from a station with no ticket office.
