Ramblers Cymru will lead six free family walks during Easter half term as part of ' partnership project to encourage people to use public transport to access local walking routes and help improve their health and wellbeing.

On Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 April, the guided walks will begin at four station locations – , Island, and Burry Port. There are twenty places on each walk, including adults and children.

The family fun adventure walks will include opportunities to stop and take in the amazing views, as well as some fun activities for all the family to enjoy. Ramblers Cymru will give every child who attends a Ramble and Scramble activity book to take home and to use along the way to spot and identify the local wildlife.

The walks follow the launch of the ‘Train, talk, walk' partnership which aims to encourage people to use local train services to access new family-friendly walking routes being developed by Ramblers Cymru, that start and finish at local stations.
