GWR Manor No. 7822 Foxcote Manor is to return to The Battlefield Line this Christmas time.
The Manor returns for the 2022 season to haul the 5-mile long line's Santa Specials.
7822 Foxcote Manor made the same trip in 2021 to haul Christmas trains at the line, which runs from Shackerstone to Shenton.
The Manor appears at the Battlefield Line thanks to its owning group, the Foxcote Manor Society.
A spokesperson for The Battlefield Line said “We are extremely pleased to announce that 7822 Foxcote Manor will be returning this Christmas to haul our Santa special trains. We are very grateful to the Foxcote Manor society for making the loco available to the Battlefield line.”
