The London Overground network, amongst other routes across the country, will be significantly disrupted by strike action. On Saturday 13th August strike action by ASLEF union members for nine train operators.
In the case of London Overground network, there will be no service due to the members of ASLEF who work for Arriva Rail London.
Additionally there will not be any Night Overground services on the evening of the 13th, although a full Night Tube service on the Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria lines.
Customers planning to use the London Overground services will need to use alternative routes, with full information available at tfl.gov.uk/strikes.
Alongside the strike disruption, there are also planned closures along the Hammersmith and City line and between Tower Hill and Upminster there will be no service.
Also on the 13th August with no service, will be Prince Regent and Beckton on the DLR to allow for engineering works.
More strikes by the RMT will occur on the 19th August on both London Overground and Underground services. Furthermore National Rail strikes will take place on the 18th and 20th August affecting services in London.
Andy Lord, TfL's Chief Operating Officer, said: “Planned strike action on the London Overground this weekend will mean disruption for our customers. With no service expected on the entire London Overground network and reduced services on a number of other national rail routes, I advise all customers to check before they travel and use alternative routes to complete their journeys.”
