Steam locomotive to depart Bristol with a tour to Shrewsbury this Wednesday

Either 70000 Britannia or 34046 Braunton will be at the helm of a tour to this Wednesday, 10th August 2022.

The tour originates at with a diesel locomotive. Departing Birmingham at 05:18, the tour will make stops at (05:29), (05:54), Banbury (06:16), (06:53), Swindon (08:02), (08:32) and at 08:51.

Now with the steam locomotive attached, the tour will depart Bristol Temple Meads at 09:13 and will pass through (09:27), (09:42), (10:42), (11:13), (12:38) and Shrewsbury at 13:05.

After time in Shrewsbury, the train will depart at 15:46 and will pass through Craven Arms (16:16), Hereford (16:52), Hereford (16:52), Abergavenny (18:01), Severn Tunnel Junction (18:47), (19:04) and Bristol Temple Meads (19:13 – diesel hauled from here), Bath Spa (19:47), Swindon (20:23), Oxford (21:21), Banbury (21:50), Leamington Spa (22:22), Coventry (22:51) and Birmingham International at 23:14.
