Cromer Carnival is one of the largest carnivals in the country, but has been absent for the last two years because of Covid. With it being held once again this year, the Red Arrows will be one of the main attractions of Carnival Day on 17th August.

Greater Anglia also ran extra trains in 2019 when the carnival was last held.

Martin Moran, Greater Anglia's Commercial and Customer Service Director, said:

“Cromer Carnival is a popular event and we're very pleased to run extra services so people can leave the car at home and take the train. We want to make it as easy as possible for people to attend, and there will be extra members of staff helping people with their journeys.

“To save time and beat the queues, passengers are advised to buy tickets online or via the Greater Anglia app before they travel and people travelling in groups of three or more can save money with GroupSave.

“Our new trains are longer and have more seats, however we would ask everyone to be patient while boarding as we are expecting higher than usual passenger numbers on these services.”
