Greater Anglia will be running an extra late train from Lowestoft to Ipswich to support festival-goers on Saturday the 18th of June
The additional service will leave Lowestoft at 23.35 and will allow people attending Lowestoft's First Light Festival to get home by train.
The last train to Norwich will depart at 23.47.
The First Light Festival is a free, 24-hour long, none stop, multi-arts festival celebrating the first light of midsummer's weekend at the most easterly point in Britain.
The event will feature music, dance, film, literature, art, science, talks, walks, sports, workshops, fire, food and drink and will start at noon on Saturday the 18th of June on Lowestoft's sandy South Beach and run continually until noon on Sunday the 19th of June.
Festival-goers are being encouraged to use public transport to get to the event in a bid to keep congestion and pollution out of the town.
Regular train services will be operating from London Liverpool Street to Lowestoft on Saturday with a change needs at either Norwich or Ipswich. Regular direct services will also be running to Lowestoft from Norwich and Ipswich and back throughout the weekend.

With regular trains from Norwich and Ipswich arriving at Lowestoft station in the heart of the town, it is a really easy way to get here. Meanwhile, fewer cars will reduce congestion and help ensure the event is as enjoyable as possible for festival-goers and residents alike.”
