  • Great last minute news to hear GBRf are sending a Class 69. Personally I thought it might have been 69005 which has just been adorned in BR Southern Region Green (with cream waistband). During the 1990s this celebrity livery was carried by 33008 and 69005 now carries the “Eastleigh” nameplate. So maybe a naming ceremony is scheduled to take place as it’s first official public appearance?
